ELECTRONIC PRIVACY AND SECURITY
SCCU has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information within our Web site. Visitors to our Web site will remain anonymous unless you choose to provide personal information by submitting forms or applications contained within this site. The personal information you provide will be used discretely and solely for the use of the SCCU to better serve its customers.
Because this site does not currently use encryption, information is sent to us via e-mail may be vulnerable as is any other e-mail message traveling via the Internet. Due to this risk, we do not ask for highly-sensitive information such as credit card, account, or social security numbers. COLLECTING USER INFORMATION
Our Web server collects standard, non-identifying information about our Web site visitors such as the date, time, Web page visited, and IP address. We may also collect e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail. This information is used to compile statistics and aggregate information on the usage of our Web site. We use this information to improve the content of our Web site, and to better serve our customers through special marketing and service programs. This information will only be used internally by the SCCU and we will not share this information with other organizations. We do not compile, buy, sell, rent or trade customer e-mail lists.
